Oh, Soul – All Products

Featuring excerpts of a 14th-century prayer by Rabbi Kalonymus ben Kalonymus ben Meir alongside fragments of original text, “Oh, Soul” explores self-realization and -actualization through a transgender lens. This contemporary composition for three-part treble chorus, piano, and percussion (toms, vibraphone) highlights historic trans perspectives, reminding listeners about both the long legacy of transgender individuals, as well as the importance of knowing oneself and living authentically.
